We have been having some crazy weather lately. Thursday, Friday and Saturday our days were filled with tornado sirens, weather radio alerts, sleepless nights, and lots and lots of rain. Sunday was beautiful (today too) we had a dobie to transport to Marianna, Florida so he could move on to his forever home. We took Alabama hwy167 to Florida hwy79 and this is what we saw.
Yeah, that's the river...
This is us driving through it.
This was kind of sad. Its a horrible picture but I was trying to get the little girl who was standing at the playground just staring. I missed the little girl but this is what she was staring at.
This was what both sides of the highway looked like most of the way to I10.
Lots and lots of water.
This is a peanut/cotton field.
We were moving too fast for me to get the cars, trucks, and houses that were mostly submerged in water....oh and the mudslides. And the forecast tomorrow calls for 1-2 more inches of rain.....

Nasty rain! I wish it would just go. We had a mini mudslide in our front yard and we lost a section of grass and now all of the utility wires are hanging out. Yuck! It makes me miss FL where the rain is only for an hour or so in the afternoon, then it is nice and sunny!
