Mrs Parker took a pie in the face when her 4th grade class earned over $6000 for their school during the Boosterthon Fun Run.

Fun Run!

I went to the most awesome fundraising event today! The Boosterthon Fun Run was this morning. I would like to thank all our friends and family who sponsored Abigail on her run....she ran the maximum 35 laps and kept going! Mrs. Parkers 4th grade class raised the most money for the school at over $200 per lap! Goooo Parker's Pride!!!

All painted and ready to run!

It's wonderful to be able to be there to support her.

The guys who were in charge of the run were incredible! They kept the kids motivated with music...they talked to them throughout the race.

They danced...

Snow Day!

I have to admit that when they made the decision yesterday to close schools today because of a "good chance" of snow I was skeptical. Then we woke up to this....

Photobucket

We woke the kids up and didn't even bother to dress them before we turned them loose.
Photobucket

This was all the snowman we could build with the snow we had...
Photobucket

And then the sky opened up and dumped a ton more snow!

Wow Mom LOOK!! (this is EG's first "real" snow)
Photobucket

Poor Layla didn't know what to think of having a snowball fight...here she is bracing for impact.
Photobucket

It didn't take her long to figure it out though :)
Photobucket

Then she ran!
Photobucket

And together putting the final touches on a snowman
Photobucket

Burrrrrrrr!
Photobucket

Shelby making a run for the house. She is NOT a fan of the snow.
Photobucket

Tory on the other hand...
Photobucket

Catch the snowball is her new favorite game :)
Photobucket

It's only 11:45 and they're saying there is more on the way! Yay for snow days!!!
